TabTrade — What It Is
Tab Trade opened in March 2026. Online broker based in Saint Lucia, regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.
His background is relevant. It means the founder has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. Still preferable to a random name you cannot trace.
They launched with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure banks and hedge funds use. Usually a new brokerage leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.
The instrument list: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, equities, crypto, ETFs. A wide spread. For something this new, the breadth is not narrow.
The Software
Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Two major platforms from the same login. Most brokers pick one platform. Getting both matters. Pick what suits your style.
MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have used MT4 or MT5 before, there are no surprises.
cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. cBot support. A lot of traders like it better than MT5 after using both.
FIX API is available for algo traders but is only on the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is apparently in the works. That would be a good addition when it lands.
Costs
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. No commission. Easy to track. No minimum deposit. Suits people who want simple pricing.
Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the actual interbank spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. Meaning your all-in cost can sit below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that offer pricing like this require a minimum deposit. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.
VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not for most retail traders. Skip it unless you trade institutionally.
Infrastructure
The speed is the thing TabTrade actually does something different. Equinix data centres. Under 30ms on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers quote 100ms to 300ms.
Does it matter? If you scalp, yes. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That signals they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Pair those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the total package is strong. Few brokers in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.
Safety
This is the part that matters. Tab Trade is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight makes you uncomfortable, look elsewhere. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.
However. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure costs real money. Dodgy operations do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. That does not replace tier-1 regulation. But inform your assessment.
What you are accepting: you give up tier-1 protection. In exchange: high leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether this deal works is your call.
Welcome Offer
TabTrade runs bonus funds of up to $2,000. Standard welcome offer. You fund your account, the broker add bonus funds. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Read the conditions before funding.
